Born in Dalian, China in 1999, graduated from the Printmaking Department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 and am currently pursuing my studies in the Painting Department at the Royal College of Art in London. My work is primarily inspired by my profound concern for the vulnerability of self-harmers and the connection between nature and the individual. It reflects various stages of my psychological state and introspection. Proficient in capturing the texture of skin through printmaking, I perceive the skin as the body’s initial shield, tightly enveloping us yet also serving as the gateway through which we harm ourselves.
